Annual Meeting, 12 November @ 11 am in Common Area

Dear Homeowner,

We are pleased to announce we are expecting a record crowd at the Annual Meeting. The meeting will be in the Common Area, rain or shine.  We have planned for protection from the elements with canopies and a large tent plus our gazebo.  We have tables and chairs for seating everyone, so you do not need to bring your own chairs.  Because of the larger number expected we would like people to come early to get signed in and be ready to start the meeting promptly at 11:00 AM.

I have attached the agenda below.  We welcome questions and comments at the meeting on topics on the Agenda.  We will be limiting time for each person to speak so please come prepared with your thoughts organized and be concise. We do not want the meeting to go on for hours so please be respectful and allow all to express their opinions.

Lunch is catered by TPI Market, and we expect our Alderman, Bobby Astor will be able to attend after/during lunch. Sample ballots were sent out in a separate email.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

(We could use help setting up for this on Saturday morning. Come early.  If someone with a truck is available, we need to pick up some rental tables and chairs (can be done on Friday) and another person to get the PA Equipment ( no truck needed) on Saturday morning. Call Tim Tabak 252-636-9484 about the PA system pick-up and Polly Meyer about tables and chairs 209-345-1155.)

Sample Ballet:

This is a sample ballot for those people running for HOA Board member positions.  There are two positions up for election with Jeff Bojonell continuing with his term on the Board. Stan Fitzgerald is leaving the Board and Polly Meyer is up for election. We need additional people for committees, and though those are not a voting positions it is a good way to be introduced to working with the HOA.  There are currently five people on the ballot, but someone can be nominated at the Annual Meeting if they are present, and they will be added to the ballot.  Voting will take place at the meeting with paper ballots supplied there. If you are not attending the meeting but would like to vote please fill out the proxy sent earlier and give to someone to represent you or send to Management Services.  If you have a proxy to vote for someone else be sure you bring it also. It is one vote per lot represented and you may vote for two people.  These people will be introduced at the meeting and we are asking for a short introduction from each of them.

Sample Ballot

Please vote for two people to fill the open positions on the Evans Mill HOA Board.
